Bamboo Damages Patio

Another patio damaged by bamboo, the bamboo at this property having been planted by a gardener who assured our clients it would not spread, very unlikely with it being a Phyllostachys aurea, a bamboo that in our experience is a variety that spreads significantly.

Our works were to remove two areas, both of which were causing physical damage.
Even the larger of the two areas we would consider to be small, but none the less was still causing quite significant damage, lifting patio slabs and spreading through existing shrubs.

We have a saying “it is always worse than you can see” and this was a prime example.
