This bamboo treatment in Sennen Cornwall was an area of bamboo originally planted at the end of a shrub boundary hedge, likely to have been planted as an effective privacy screen.
The bamboo like most had expanded and spread significantly into the hedge and unfortunately had encroached into the neighbouring property.
We undertook a Bamboo Survey and created a management plan, our aim was to eliminate the encroachment issue in the neighbouring property and to eradicate the bamboo in our clients hedge.
Our works included manual excavation to the bamboo growing in the neighbouring property and to utilise a bamboo treatment programme using a targeted herbicide to eradicate the bamboo whilst leaving the existing mature hedge unaffected to retain the privacy it provides.
