Bamboo Removal Costs
Bamboo can be extremely invasive and damaging. Bamboo removal needs a specialist company with the knowledge and skills to undertake the works, using a non specialist can very often simply make the issue worse.
“No More Bamboo” the bamboo removal specialists
Each bamboo removal is unique and as such costed on an individual basis. Bamboo removal is a specialised and complex process needing an expert team with the required knowledge and skills to undertake works.
We have a very open and up front attitude with costing to allow homeowners to be aware of likely costs right from the start.
Bamboo Remediation Costs
“Bamboo Remediation” costs start at £995 +vat for a very small simple clump, however virtually all bamboo remediations cost more than this.
Cost Increasing Factors.
Factors that increase costs include one or more of the following.
- Larger areas affected by the bamboo.
- Large volumes of bamboo culms.
- Clients having removed the standing culms. [Cutting the canes down]
- Limited or no access for machinery.
- Awkward locations of the bamboo. Eg. up or down banks.
- The bamboo in and around other shrubs, trees, hedges.
- The bamboo located in or around landscaped areas, rockeries, ponds etc.
- Rhizome expansion into surrounding areas, such as patios, paving, gravel areas, lawns, under decking.
- Close proximity of fences, sheds and other obstructions.
- Encroachment into neighbouring properties.
- Bamboo shoots emerging from patios, paving, paths, drives.
Bamboo excavations are rarely straightforward, most will be affected by a number of the above factors.
Bamboo Herbicide Treatment Costs
Bamboo herbicide remediation comprises initial works and follow up treatment visits.
The exact costs will be dependent on a number of factors, these include;
- Number, height and diameter of culms.
- Volume/area of rhizome.
- Age of bamboo colony.
- Location of bamboo and it’s surrounding area and contents.
- If clients have removed the standing culms. [Do not do this, especially in lawn areas]
As a rough guide, herbicide treatments typically cost approximately 60% of bamboo excavation, but this very much depends on circumstances.
Bamboo Grows Every Year – The Problem Getting Worse Each & Every Year
It is vital that the bamboo should not be left, it is extremely likely to continue growing, expanding each year.
The scale of the situation and resulting costs will get greater.
Bamboo problems do not go away, No More Bamboo can end your bamboo nightmare.
We offer our clients complete confidence with our bamboo excavations and herbicide treatments, so much so that we include a No More Bamboo "Five Year Guarantee" on the work area.
If there is any regrowth in the work area we will at our discretion either excavate or herbicide treat completely free of charge, this is to ensure complete peace of mind.
Optional Insurance Backed Guarantees are also available (subject to approval, fees apply) suitable for mortgage companies and solicitors.
We would like to make clear that whilst we offer a “Five Year Guarantee” it is highly unlikely and only in exceptional circumstances that you would expect any potential regrowth after approximately eighteen months.
