RECEIVE A FREE BAMBOO APPRAISAL

Send a video/s of your bamboo.

Sending a walk through video is a great way for us to give an initial Free Appraisal.
We may be able to give an indication of costs from looking at the videos you send.
You may then wish to book a Bamboo Assessment.

The best way is via a walk through video.
Starting at the roadside at your house, video the route to the bamboo showing any obstacles along the way, such as gates, steps etc. Once at the bamboo location, showing the extent of the bamboo and any areas it has spread into.

Important – To be able to give a costing guide your video needs to include,

1. The area outside your homes entrance, including the drive or path leading to your house. 
2. Path or route to the bamboo, including any obstacles on the way, steps, corners, narrow bits, obstructions. 
3. The area surrounding the bamboo, showing where the bamboo lies. Is it in an open area, against a fence, in a flower border or walled area etc. 
4. The bamboo itself, from different view points, showing where it has spread.
5. Show any encroachment into neighbouring properties.

We also need,

1. Your name and address.
2. An indication of whether you are more biased towards “Bamboo Excavation” or “Bamboo Herbicide Treatment”

To be able to give a realistic costing guide, any expansion of the main bamboo must be clearly shown.
Clearly indicate the outer limits of growth, showing any culms standing or that have been cut or rhizomes visible at this point.
Failure to do this will affect the accuracy of any indication cost.

To enable videos to be sent easily please keep videos to less than 60 seconds. It is perfectly fine to send more than one video.

To fully understand your individual bamboo issue, to suggest a method of works, the costs involved, we need to visit and assess the affected area.

Before a “Bamboo Assessment” is booked, we invite you to send a video for us to be able to provide FREE OF CHARGE an indication of likely costs, or failing this a likely minimum cost.
This means that you have some idea of costs before you commit to paying for a bamboo assessment.

Our Bamboo Assessments

A walk around assessment of your bamboo will include;

• The sizes and location of the bamboo.
• Any encroachment found into third party land.
• Visible damage to your and third party land.
• A suggestion of our recommended method of works to suit clients situation and budget.
• Future management.
• Costings for works.
• Written report.

The cost for this assessment will be deducted from the total works costs should you wish to proceed.
Our Bamboo Assessments cost £245 +vat, (£294 inc vat @20%)
