Beware Of Unskilled Bamboo Removal

Using a business to remove your bamboo that is not an “Invasive Species Specialist” is at best foolhardy, but in reality probably just a complete waste of money.

There are lots of people and businesses who say that they can do it, or have a go without the faintest idea of what they are doing, certainly without the knowledge and skills to eradicate the bamboo.

Today we walked past the site along the footpath.

To be honest we were utterly shocked.
Clearly whoever had undertaken the work had no understanding of bamboo and how to provide remediation.
The photographs show new growth and the significant amount of regenerative rhizome left untouched in the soil surface.
We hate to think what is left in the soil of the approximately 50 sqm area.

It will be very interesting to see how quickly this Bambusa Phyllostachys Aureosulcata Spectabilis comes back.

Whilst a cheap quote might be very appealing, make sure it is not a very expensive mistake.
